About Joan

The youngest of three children, Joan Endicott was born on November 27, 1959 in Auburn, Washington to Leonard and Odessia Lemke. Along with her two siblings, Larry and Rochelle, she grew up in the Portland, Oregon area. She met her best friend and future husband, Mark, in college.

She was an entrepreneur at age 8 - going door to door selling "treasures" or doing various jobs for neighbors.

She started motivational speaking at age 25 in order to encourage children and teens to become their best. As a result of some of her own difficulties as a child, she has a special place in her heart for those who have been abused.

She became Mrs. Idaho US Int.' in 1994-1995 to enhance the interest of her younger audiences.

In her role as Mrs. Idaho in 1994, she promoted healthy marriage and family relationships, with a special connection to the children and teens victimized by neglect and abuse, which continues to be her passion today.

In combining her various business experience/background and motivational speaking, Endicott Training & Consulting was started in 1996.

Joan and Mark were recently presented with the Treasure Valley Marriage Ambassadors Award for 2008 by the Healthy Families Network, for their commitment to the institution of marriage and as role models to other couples.

Mark and Joan have been married since December 20th, 1980 and have three children whom they consider God's greatest blessing and highest priority.
