In addition to starting her entrepreneurial adventures at age eight, Joan has over twenty-five years’ experience in positions requiring interpersonal, sales, communication training, and leadership skills. She has been owner and President of ETC Endicott Training & Consulting since 1998. Her newspaper column and various publishing’s in business newsletters and her weekly “I Get To!”® radio show, covers these same topics. She has been nominated numerous years for the BBB’s Integrity Counts Award.

She and her husband, Mark, have been married since 1980. They have three children whom they consider their highest priority.

Joan’s role as Mrs. Idaho in 1994, allowed her to further promote healthy marriage and family relationships, with a special connection to children and teens, which continues to be one of her passions today.

Joan and Mark were presented with the Marriage Ambassadors Award in 2008 by the Healthy Families Network for their commitment to the institution of marriage and as role models to other couples.

Joan and Mark’s home base is in the beautiful Treasure Valley of Idaho.
